Celebration of Agriculture: Pumpkin, Potatoes, Onion (triptych)
Igor Makarevich (b. 1943) is one of the central figures of Moscow Conceptualism. He graduated from the art department of the State Film Institute (VGIK). In 1979 he joined the group Collective Actions and became its principal photographer. From 1990 he worked in partnership with his wife, the artist Elena Elagina. The triptych Celebration of Agriculture: Pumpkin, Potatoes, Onion (1996) is painted in oil on canvas.
